Important note for ALL TBC members from Stuart (Club Treasurer)
Gerrard (Club Secretary) has emailed all members with the following info from Stuart ,,,,,,
" I have had an enquiry or two about payment of green fees. These are payments for the upkeep of the green and are payable every time we use the green for bowling. They are separate from any match fees and the membership subscription.
Continental Landscapes Ltd maintain the green on behalf of the Council throughout the year. The fees for 2024 are: 60 and over/under 16 - £2.80 per hour, or £101.20 for a season ticket for the whole year. So if you are likely to play more than 36 hours this year it is cheaper to get a season ticket. It is surprising how the hours mount up! If you are lucky enough to be 16-59, the rates are £5.50 per hour and £196 for a season ticket. The charges should apply to everyone using the green for bowling, including roll-ups, individual practise and any informal family games. If you bring a friend along to a roll-up, please include their fee with your own.
The most convenient way to pay the green fees is to transfer the money into the Club's bank account, with the payee reference "Green fees". Most of us pay for the season ticket and the transfer can be done anytime. If paying by the hour, make a note of how many hours you have played as we go through the year, and transfer the appropriate money by late September, or when you know you won't be playing any more bowls. I will transfer the money to Continental Landscapes Ltd in one or two lump sums, notifying them of the transfer details. Continental Landscapes Ltd prefer to be paid in this way. If you don't do bank transfers I'll be happy to take cheques (made out to Teddington Bowling Club) or cash at any time and I'll pay them into our bank account. "
